The Aledo City Council has increased part-time pay for Aledo Police officers to $25 an hour. Mayor Chris Hagloch says aldermen have also approved another matter allowing the city to recoup some of the upfront training costs when new officers leave shortly after their employment.
The action was taken at this week’s Aledo City Council meeting.
