Orion (22-15) won its fourth consecutive volleyball regional championship with a three-set victory over Putnam County (19-15-1) to win the 1A Putnam County Regional on Thursday.
The Chargers took the match 26-28, 25-11, 25-10 to advance to next week’s 1A Abingdon-Avon Sectional. Orion will play Brimfield (22-7) in the sectional semifinals on Tuesday.
Orion has won 15 regional titles in the past 18 seasons.
