One person injured in a traffic crash north of Aledo earlier this week. According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, the one-vehicle accident occurred Monday on Illinois Route 94. The vehicle exited the highway and struck a tree. The driver, Seth John of Orion, was injured and transported to Genesis Medical Center, Aledo. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by the Aledo Fire Department, Aledo Police Department, and Elite Ambulance Service.
