Nearly 2,000 people have signed an online petition to bring Dan Diamond back as Orion High School wrestling coach. He was dismissed last month by the Orion Board of Education in response to a situation stemming from the individual state wrestling tournament last season. 1993 Orion grad Steve Lacefield is helping lead the petition drive.
The Orion School Board meets this Wednesday, where they will be asked to reinstate Diamond.
