A motion to dismiss has been filed in a Mercer County man’s criminal sexual assault case. A hearing is set for March 15 for 51-year-old Robert Breshears Jr. of Alexis. The defense motion was filed Tuesday in Mercer County Circuit Court.
Breshears faces two Class 1 felonies in connection with alleged incidents involving a female between the ages of 13 and 18. He was arrested on a warrant in September of 2020 and posted 10-percent of his $250,000 bond.
