Mercer County (10-15) is on a three-game winning streak in boys basketball after beating Brimfield (16-8) 55-49 at home Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles used a 7-0 run midway through the second quarter to tie the game 15-15 after trailing 15-8. Brimfield pushed back in front 19-17 at halftime. Mercer County held a 36-32 lead at the end of the third quarter and never trailed in the fourth.
Brady McPeek scored 19 points to lead the Golden Eagles. Carson Boelens added 15 in the win.
Brady Doe netted 30 points in the loss for the Indians.
