A Quad City administrator has been named new principal at Mercer County High School. Andrea Cooper was hired by the Mercer County School Board Wednesday night. She is a native of Fulton and currently serves as interim Dean of Students at Bettendorf Middle School. Cooper will begin her new job next school year, replacing Stacey Day, who is leaving Mercer County to become superintendent in the West Central School District.
