The late Nancy Watkins of Aledo knew all about the gift of giving and because of that, the Mercer County Jaycees have changed the name of their annual Toys for Needy Kids campaign to Toys for Nancy’s Kids. It’s a fitting honor says Jaycee Jon Swanson.
In addition to the Christmas Clearinghouse, Watkins also played a key role in the annual Messiah Lutheran Church Community Christmas Dinner. She died last December.
