Mercer County won the big showdown with Annawan to take sole possession of the Lincoln Trail Conference lead on Tuesday night in Aledo. In Class 2A girls regional play at Knoxville, Orion ended Mercer County’s season and Alleman topped Rockridge. At Hamilton, West Hancock beat United.
