Mercer County junior Brady McPeek scored his 1,000th career point in the Golden Eagles’ 41-29 win over United on Friday.
McPeek scored a game-high 17 points in the win, including a corner three-pointer in the third quarter that pushed him past the 1,000-point milestone.
Mercer County (14-16) trailed 9-7 at the end of the first quarter, but outscored the Red Storm 12-3 in the second quarter to take a 19-12 lead at halftime. The Golden Eagles led for the remainder of the night.
Spencer Andresen scored 14 points for Mercer County.
Ian Leffler led United (14-14) with 16 points in the loss.
