Juliet was born on June 21, 2023, in Davenport, Iowa. She was the daughter of Hillary Albertson Castillo of Aledo and Andrew Castillo of Milan and the first grandchild on both sides of her family.
Juliet brought joy to all with her kind heart and creative mind. She was smart and so observant to everything around her. She also had a spunky tough side to her and took charge the moment she walked into the room. She claimed she was “mean” with her “troll face,” but it was always followed by giggles as we got those growly bugs out. Her sweetness shined with her favorite bedtime routine and morning snuggles with her sister.
She loved the farm kittens and would tell them each I love you by name…all 13 of them. Her own cat Chestnut was always at her side. Her days revolved around dressing up in princess dresses with her sister and dancing and singing together. She especially treasured her “big Snow White” statue, lovingly coated with layers of superglue, and marked NOT A TOY on the bottom.
She had the best mama who played dollhouse, went to the park, and painted with her every day—her watercolors covered the refrigerator and brushes had a permanent home on the kitchen table. She loved to recite Mother Goose rhymes and was constantly singing and chatting to anyone who would listen.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents; little sister, Clara; grandparents, Crista and William (W.J.) Albertson (Boogum & Ba) of Alpharetta, Georgia, Christina Castillo of Temple, Texas, Mariano Castillo and Flora Charner of College Station, Texas, and Jason and Rosa Sancomb of Jekyll Island, Georgia; great-grandparents, Kenneth and Karen (Dado) King of Aledo, Jeff and Peggy Fisher of Oquawka, Anna Ihle of San Antonio, Texas, Jesus Castillo of Houston, Texas, and Barbara Sancomb of Baja, Mexico; aunts and uncles, Bailey, Audrey, and Riley Albertson, Paige Sancomb, and Lino and Matias Castillo; and many great aunts and uncles, and cousins who loved her.
Juliet was preceded in death by her uncle, Landry Albertson, and great-grandparents, Leland Albertson, Jr., Mark Ihle, Maria del Carmen, and Donald Sancomb.
