WRMJ spoke with Rockridge High School junior track and field athlete Alex Zarlatanes for the High School Sports Spotlight Tuesday.
Zarlatanes broke the Rockridge High School record in discus last week, throwing 49.95 meters. He then broke his own record Monday with a throw of 51.95 meters.
The previous record stood since 1975.
