Having Faith In The Fair; Orth Family Delivered

Just ask 1959 Aledo High School grad Neil Orth how important the Mercer County Fair was to his family. Many years ago, his late father Jim personally signed the note to keep the fair afloat.

Neil Orth is well recognized in the livestock industry and has received many honors throughout his career. He currently serves as executive vice president of the American-International Charolais (shar-lay) Association in Kansas City.

Among Orth’s most recent honors, the 2021 Saddle and Sirloin Portrait Gallery Award from the Kentucky State Fair Board. It serves as the livestock industry’s hall of fame in the Bluegrass State.
