Mercer County resumed Lincoln Trail Conference play in girls basketball with a 59-54 loss to Abingdon-Avon Monday. Brooke Pieper scored a game-high 21 points for the Tornadoes. The Golden Eagles had three players in double figures. Sydney Lamkin poured in 16, Maddie Hofmann scored 15 points, and Molly Hofmann had 10 points in the loss.
