Eagles Take Sectional Track Crown

Mercer County won the girls Class 1A Sectional Track championship at Orion Thursday night edging host Orion.  In baseball, Annawan-Wethersfield tied Mercer County and Ridgewood for the conference title with a win over Rowva-Williamsfield and in softball Alleman edged Rockridge in a battle of area powers.
