After a two-year hiatus, the Dr. Ford Frog Races return to Aledo Central Park this summer. The pandemic forced cancellation of the event in 2020 and 2021. The frog races began in 1993 and are named in honor of founding Aledo Exchange Club member, the late Dr. Charles Ford. The Exchange Club has always sponsored the event but will get help this July 4 from the Mercer County Jaycees and the Aledo American Legion.
