2024 marks another community health needs assessment for Genesis Medical Center, Aledo. The assessment takes place every 5 years and is a requirement for the not-for-profit hospitals in the United States. It’s a way to ensure hospitals are providing needed benefits to the communities they serve.
Sarah Brown with the Mercer County Family YMCA says a large local group reviews the data.
The surveys will be sent out at the end of August.
