Area 4-H Clubs Receive Donation From Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois

Farmers State Bank recently donated $4,200 to fourteen area 4-H groups for the purpose of supporting youth in agriculture. These 4-H clubs each received $300 from Farmers State Bank:

3. Creative Kids 4-H Club

4. Hamlet Handy Helpers

5. Joy-Eliza Ag

6. Kimel

7. Lynox Loyals

8. Mercer County 4-H Dog Club

9. Peppy Partners

10. Rio Livestock

11. Saddle Teens

12. Sherrard 4-H Club

13. Teen Federation 4-H CLub

The Friends of 4-H – Mercer County Fair was also a recipient of a $300 gift. The donations are meant to support programs for young people to learn real-world skills that will prepare them for the challenges of today and tomorrow.

“Agriculture and agri-businesses are the life-blood of the communities in which we do business,” said Bret Robinson, President of Farmers State Bank. “Even in this pandemic period, we felt it was essential to support our young people and 4-H programs, which fosters our agricultural heritage.”
