Aledo Ready For 34th Rhubarb Fest This Weekend

The City of Aledo is wrapping up its final preparations to host the 34th annual Rhubarb Festival this weekend.

The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Aledo Central Park on Friday and Saturday and includes a wide range of activities and entertainment like guided trolley tours, live music, rhubarb-themed foods and drinks, crafts, and more.

Aledo is expected to welcome thousands of visitors again for this year’s Rhubarb Fest. Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch says it continues to grow.

The inaugural Rhubarb Fest took place in 1991.
