The City of Aledo has named its next police chief.
The Aledo City Council approved Adam Baker’s appointment as Chief of Police on Monday. Baker has served the Aledo Police Department for 10 years, currently as a lieutenant. He’ll be paid a salary of $87,000 in the role.
Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch says the city is happy to have Baker take over.
Baker replaces interim Chief of Police Trevor Fisk, who is stepping away after two years. Hagloch thanked Fisk for coming out of retirement to serve Aledo.
Baker officially starts as Aledo Chief of Police on June 28.
