An Aledo man pleads guilty to hitting a Bettendorf police officer with a car. Jonathan Swearingen is accused of hitting an officer while trying to get away from police back in November. Swearingen pleaded guilty to multiple charges including assault, eluding, and child endangerment this week in Scott County District Court. He’ll be sentenced April 9th.
