An Aledo man facing a Class X felony terrorism/threat charge has pleaded guilty in the case.
24-year-old Caden Miller entered a guilty plea in Mercer County Circuit Court last week, where he was sentenced to 48 months of TASC probation and given a 180-day jail sentence, which is stayed pending compliance with his probation. He was ordered to have no contact with the Mercer County School District or associated events, no possession or consumption of alcohol, cannabis, or any other controlled substance. Miller was also fined $500 and sentenced to 30 hours of public service.
He was arrested last October following a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department investigation involving a social media comment regarding the Mercer County High School homecoming parade.
