It started as a simple idea in 2008, but it’s now benefited a number of great local causes. Mercer Market has helped raise over $200,000 through a pork-chop stand and portable grill they set up in their parking lot. Jeff Sedam is pleased the effort can help non-profits.
Over 30 local non-profits have benefited through the effort. Sedam says the next target is $250,000.
