A local bank has announced more than $3,500 in donations to local 4-H groups.
Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois recently donated $3,600 to 12 4-H groups. The Alexis All-Stars 4-H Club, Country Kids 4-H Club, Hamlet Handy Helpers 4-H Club, Joy-Eliza Ag 4-H Club, Kimel 4-H Club, Lynox Loyals 4-H Club, Mercer County 4-H Dog Club, Peppy Partners, Rio Livestock 4-H Club, Saddle Teens 4-H Club, Teen Federation 4-H Club and Friends of 4-H – Mercer County Fair each received $300 from the bank.
Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois said in a press release that the donations are intended to support programs that help young people learn real-world skills.
Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois has offices in Alexis, Aledo, Alpha, New Windsor, Viola and Woodhull.
