A new school year brings a new high school principal to the Mercer County School District.
Joel Zaiser officially started in the position on July 1 after being hired in May. He spent the past four years serving as West Central High School assistant principal and athletic director. Previously, Zaiser taught in the ROWVA School District for 16 years.
Zaiser spoke with WRMJ on Thursday.
The first day of school in the Mercer County School District is Thursday, Aug. 14.
