A local campground and resort held a ribbon-cutting Friday.
Haven Hills, located south of Aledo at the former Hawthorne Ridge Golf Course, is officially open. Resort manager Alan Henshaw says it feels great to be able to get started.
Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch attended the ribbon cutting. He says he’s excited for what Haven Hills can bring to the city.
