A new club offered at Apollo Elementary School in Aledo has been a big hit.
Second grade teacher Aubree Norton launched a “Random Acts of Kindness Club” at the school in March. Since its inception, the club has met once a month for about 45 minutes after school with themed activities and lessons about being kind. This month, students created kindness posters and have been distributing them to local businesses.
The group is open to all students at Apollo, and nearly 70 students have participated.
