A single-vehicle accident outside of Sherrard on Monday resulted in multiple citations issued to the driver.
According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department press release, 22-year-old Pedro Perez Corio of Rock Island lost control of his vehicle and struck an RV parked on private property east of Sherrard on Knoxville Road. Corio was cited for no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and failure to reduce speed.
No injuries were reported from the accident.
