Sherrard (19-2, 6-0 TRAC West) rallied in the second half to complete a regular season sweep of Rockridge (15-7, 4-2 TRAC West) in a 40-39 win on the road Friday.
The Tigers trailed 23-14 at halftime. Rockridge took its largest lead of the night, 25-14, with 6:13 left in the third quarter. Sherrard closed the quarter on a 12-4 run to close the gap to 29-26 heading to the fourth.
James Blackwell broke a 38-38 tie on a drive to the basket with just over two minutes remaining to give Sherrard the lead for good. The Tigers survived three shots in the final 10 seconds of regulation for Rockridge that all were off the mark to win.
Carter Brown scored a game-high 19 points for Sherrard. All of his points came in the second half. Rylan Carton added 11 in the win.
Landon Bull paced Rockridge with 16 in the loss.
Sherrard holds a two-game lead in the TRAC West with four league games to play.
