Sherrard (14-2) took down North Scott (2-8) 48-43 at the IHMVCU Iowa vs Illinois Shootout at Carver Center Saturday.
The game was tight throughout, with neither team leading by more than two possessions. The Tigers got out to an 11-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, trailed 25-24 at halftime, and led 35-34 at the end of the third.
Violet Meskan scored 19 points to pace Sherrard. Adalynn Elsbury was also in double figures with 14.
Allie Moeller had netted 15 points for the Lancers in the loss.
