The reigning Mercer County Fair Queen set to depart for the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant. A send-off celebration was held Sunday for Ella King at Mercer County Junior High. The State Pageant is next Friday through Sunday in Springfield.
King is a senior at Mercer County High School.
