Sherrard (8-1) rallied late to beat Sterling (3-5) 46-42 at Homer Musgrove Field House in boys basketball Monday.
The Tigers took an early 2-0 lead, but trailed 16-6 at the end of the first quarter. Sherrard tied the game at 18 before facing a 20-18 deficit at halftime. The Golden Warriors pushed the lead to 11 points in the quarter. Sherrard outscored Sterling 15-4 in the fourth quarter to come from behind and win.
Rylan Carton scored 18 points, James Blackwell had 15 and Carter Brown added 13 in the win.
Will Ports led Sterling with 14 points.
