Week 6 IHSA Football AP Poll

The Associated Press (AP) released its latest IHSA football poll Wednesday.

Rockridge (3-2) dropped out of the top-10 this week after losing 15-7 to Newman in overtime Friday. The win propelled the Comets to No. 10 in 1A this week.

Other local schools in the rankings this week include Monmouth-Roseville (3A No. 6), Princeton (3A No. 9), Farmington (2A No. 2), Stark County (1A No. 6), and Macomb (4A No. 10).

WRMJ will post the polls each week. WRMJ’s Ty Taylor is an AP voter. His ballot will accompany the AP poll throughout the year.
