Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Hall of Famer Chuck Grant is returning to be the head coach of the Monmouth-Roseville High School boys basketball program.
Grant spent 28 years as a varsity boys basketball coach from 1993-2021 at Roseville High School, Monmouth High School, and then the consolidated Monmouth-Roseville. During that time, Grant compiled a record of 455-314 and won 12 regional championships. He was inducted into the IBCA Hall of Fame in 2018.
Grant replaces Jake Sottos, who resigned after three seasons leading the program in May. He’ll officially be hired at the next Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education meeting Tuesday.
The Titans went 15-18 in 2023-24.
