The “Walldogs” group paying tribute to late Aledo sign painter Michael Clark this summer. Clark died last August 30.
In other business at Monday night’s Aledo City Council meeting, Jade Ford was sworn-in as a new Aledo police officer. Her brother Quesean Ford is a community service officer in charge of code enforcement with the Aledo Police Department.
Jade Ford was most recently employed with the Rock Island Police Department. She is the first new hire to receive a $7,5000 signing bonus to be paid out over three years.
The Aledo City Council approved the $7,500 signing bonus incentive this spring.
