Sherrard (15-2, 4-1 TRAC West) ended the game on a 20-2 run to defeat Monmouth-Roseville (13-8, 2-3 TRAC West), 50-39, Friday.
The Tigers trailed 37-30 with 3:30 left in the third quarter, but then held Monmouth-Roseville scoreless for the next 11 minutes of game time to come back and take control. The Titans didn’t score their next basket until there was less than 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
Sherrard’s Rylan Carton scored 18 points in the win. Holland Anderson and Jack Hatlestad each added 10 points for the Tigers.
Ayden Almagaur led Monmouth-Roseville with 14 points.
