Sherrard (4-2, 2-0 TRAC West) got a conference win in girls basketball at home Thursday over Rockridge (3-4, 1-1 TRAC West), 44-24.
The game was tied 5-5 at the end of the first quarter, but the Tigers outscored the Rockets 15-3 in the second quarter to take a 20-8 lead at halftime.
Sherrard’s Rachael Fender scored 13 points to lead all scorers. Violet Meskan was also in double figures for the Tigers with 11 points.
