A new TIF district is moving forward in Aledo. The Aledo City Council took action on a couple of ordnances Monday night. Steve Kline is serving as TIF consultant for the city.
Aledo’s original TIF was created in 1986.
Also Monday night the council approved four TIF incentive packages for downtown developer WJ Albertson. The properties are the former True Audio building, former True Value storefront, former Meat Market site, and the pink door building at 114 East Main Street.
