Local State Senator Neil Anderson’s bill to classify dispatchers as first responders passes the State Senate.
The bill won unanimous approval in the State Senate on a 53-to-0 vote and now moves to the Illinois House, where the measure is sponsored by local State Rep. Dan Swanson.
