2019 Animal Cruelty Case Continued To Next Year In Mercer County Circuit Court

A plea date has been continued to next year for a Sherrard woman charged in an animal cruelty case. 58-year-old Karen Plambeck faces five misdemeanor counts accusing her of failing to provide a sufficient quantity of good wholesome food to four horses she owned. The Jan. 11 plea date was set Monday in Mercer County Circuit Court. Plambeck’s attorney asked for the continuance. Plambeck posted $1,000 bond and was released from the Mercer County Jail shortly after her arrest in October of 2019.
