A firearms arrest is made following a search warrant being executed in Boden. The warrant was served Friday by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, Quad City MEG agents, and Illinois State Police. As a result, 32-year-old Trent Edward Martin was taken into custody. He has been charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Martin is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $20,000. A preliminary hearing is set for next Monday.
