A former Aledo resident happy to be playing a key role in another downtown Aledo project. W.J. Albertson acquired the former Aledo Jr. High property, which is being transferred to the Rock Island Economic Growth Corp. for an $11.7 million redevelopment project.
Albertson has already finished redevelopment projects at the former Hall’s Shoes and Appleton Law Office storefronts along with the former Mercer Carnegie Library. He is also redeveloping the former Cooper TV storefront.
