An accident at the Mercer County Fairgrounds claims the life of an Aledo man. The Mercer County Coroner’s office reports 80-year-old Harold Heck was pronounced dead at the scene Friday afternoon. The mishap occurred just before 2.p.m. Emergency personnel responded to a report of a man being trapped under an agricultural apparatus. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, Aledo Police, Genesis Ambulance and Aledo Fire responded to the call.
