COVID vaccine distribution ramped up in Mercer County. Last weekend marked the first of weekly Saturday clinics at Genesis Health Group in Aledo. Genesis Aledo is part of a statewide effort to increase vaccination opportunities in rural areas says administrator Ted Rogalski.
Again, the Saturday clinics are offered from 8 a.m. to Noon. You can call 582-9450 to get on the appointment list. Eight other rural health care providers throughout Illinois are part of the vaccine distribution project.
