Three Downtown Projects Nearing Completion & Casey’s Soon Moving

Progress continues on three downtown Aledo properties. The former Hall’s Shoes and Appleton Law Office storefronts along with the former Mercer Carnegie Library are all owned by W.J. Albertson. An update from Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch.

Hagloch says the Aledo City Council also learned this week that work on a new Casey’s location will begin later this month. They have acquired the former Aledo Mobil property and will be moving from the current location at 303 SW 3rd Street.

Also this week, aldermen approved the sale of the Gas Department building, located at 109 SW 2nd Street, to Jordan Clark and Third Arrow Properties. Plans are for a woodworking business in the building.
