WRMJ’s “Trees in the Park” had perhaps the nicest collection of decorated trees in its history. 27 trees lined the sidewalk in Aledo’s Central Park. The theme this year was “Christmas Memories”. The judges chose the tree sponsored by Ferg’s Public House and decorated by High Roads advantage for the first prize of $100. Second place and $75 dollars goes to the tree sponsored by Johannes Bus Service and decorated by the Mercer County High School AP Art Class. Third place and $50 goes to the tree sponsored the Ag Society-Mercer County Fair Board and decorated by the Mercer County Fair Queens. The trees will be on display through the New Year.
