The Sherrard School Board has approved moving forward with the IHSA basketball season. The vote was 4-3 after a thorough discussion by board members and administrators on Wednesday night. Boys and girls basketball teams can begin practice on Nov. 16. The Sherrard School District is one of the first area districts to make a decision on the issue.
