WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor visited with Pleasant Plains High School athletic director Brent Grisham Monday evening. The two discussed an Illinois Athletic Directors Association Zoom meeting from Monday involving 372 ADs from across the state. The meeting included a key survey question: How many schools will play basketball this year? Nine percent responded yes. Twenty-nine percent said no. And 62 percent are unsure at this time with the main concern being liability coverage from insurance companies.
