The Mercer County School District confirming two individuals have tested positive for COVID-19. One is at the high school and the other is at the intermediate school. The district is coordinating their efforts with the Mercer County Health Department to promptly identify and monitor individuals who have had recent contact with the two positive cases. They are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention along with state and local health departments. Those students or staff members who have had close contact with the infected individuals will be placed in quarantine for 14 days.
