The former Aledo Northside School building received plenty of attention early this month when it was hit with graffiti. But what is the long-term future of that property? Mayor Chris Hagloch says that answer is unknown, but any type of significant upgrade or remodel will take “millions of dollars.”
The property, located in the city’s TIF district, is for sale by the Maynard Trust. The building has been vacant since the 2002/2003 school year.
